What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation, which completes and deepens the graces given in Baptism.
In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the recipient in anointed with the Oil of Chrism by the Bishop pr delegated priest, and receives the gift of the Holy Spirit in an intimate and profound way in order to help them to live out their Catholic faith in the world.

Who Can Receive Confirmation?
At St. Anthony's Parish, we welcome all Catholic baptized children, in grades 6 or higher, to enroll in the Confirmation preparation program and to learn and grow in their Catholic Faith as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
What is the Parent's Role in a Child's Confirmation?
Journeying with your child as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation is not a task to be taken lightly. As their parent, you must be committed to bringing your child to all of the preparation classes and to Sunday Mass, praying with them, and growing with them as they learn about their Catholic faith. Your co-operation in this process is essential for your child's spiritual growth as they prepare to receive this Sacrament!
